Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026

In short: use HRTEQ honestly and only for recruitment, keep your account secure, and remember that hiring decisions are made by the agencies and employers you work with, not by HRTEQ.

  • You own what you upload. We use it to run the Service.
  • AI suggestions can be wrong, so check them.
  • Paid subscriptions renew until you cancel.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and HRTEQ, Inc. (“HRTEQ”, “we”, “us”) for use of the website at hrteq.com, the HRTEQ web app and the HRTEQ Android app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a recruitment agency, employer or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. A separate written agreement between HRTEQ and an organization takes priority over these Terms where they differ.

2. The Service

HRTEQ is a platform that recruitment agencies, employers and job applicants use to manage job orders, applications, documents, interviews and communication. Recruitment agencies and employers (each an “Organization”) run their own recruitment processes on HRTEQ.

HRTEQ is not a party to recruitment or employment decisions. Access to HRTEQ does not guarantee an interview, job offer, placement, visa or approval. Requirements, decisions and timelines are set by the relevant Organization and authorities.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an applicant account.
  • Give accurate information, keep it up to date, and complete any required profile setup and email verification.
  • Use only an account you are authorized to use. Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us right away at info@hrteq.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Some applicant accounts require an invitation from an Organization.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Service only for legitimate recruitment and account purposes. You must not:

  • impersonate anyone, or submit false, misleading or forged information or documents;
  • upload information about another person unless you are authorized to share it;
  • access or try to access another person’s records or account without authorization;
  • harass others or send harmful, unlawful or abusive content;
  • upload malware, or probe, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service or its security;
  • use the Service to break any law, including recruitment, employment and data privacy laws.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the information, documents and messages you submit (“Your Content”). You give HRTEQ a limited permission to store, process, display and share Your Content as needed to provide the Service, including sharing it with the Organizations and users involved in your recruitment as described in the Privacy Policy.

Check your applications and documents before submitting them. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to submit it.

6. AI-assisted features

Some features use AI to analyze CVs, check documents, draft resumes, suggest jobs or support interview practice. AI output can contain mistakes. Review generated content before relying on it, and contact your recruitment team if an automated check needs a person’s review.

8. The Android app

The HRTEQ Android app is distributed from hrteq.com and HRTEQ’s official release page. It can check for and download updates, which Android asks you to confirm before installing. Install the app only from these official sources.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and content other than Your Content, belongs to HRTEQ and its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.

10. Third-party services

The Service works with third-party services such as Google sign-in, Stripe payments and video meeting links. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and policies, and HRTEQ is not responsible for them.

11. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Service if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk for other users or for HRTEQ, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. Records held by an Organization are kept according to that Organization’s rules after an account ends.

12. Disclaimers

We work to keep the Service accurate, secure and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, HRTEQ makes no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information provided by Organizations, other users or AI features is complete or correct.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, HRTEQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. HRTEQ’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid HRTEQ in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Before starting a legal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and tell you in the Service or by email before significant changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
